Playing outside in the snow will count towards major exercise. That is a benefit to you, family and friends playing in your garden.

Snow is mostly air surrounded by a little frozen water, and despite how cold it feels to the skin, it is an excellent insulator of the soil. Snow is also known as “poor man’s fertilizer.” As snow falls through the atmosphere, nitrogen attaches to the snowflakes, providing a gentle natural fertilizer boost to plants.
