What does it take to prepare a Grilled Panini Sandwich at home ? You pay a fortune to the coffee shops for a thin panini but you can make a gourmet panini yourself with our recipe below.

What you need:
Ingredients
- Loaf Olive Ciabatta Bread. Try Sainsburys one
- Slightly Salted butter Spreadable
- Smoked Mackerel Strips. e.g. Tesco one
- Sacla Fiery Chilli Pesto
- Luxury Coleslaw. Try Sainsburys or Waitrose
- Nando's Peri-Peri
- Sweet corn
Preparation
- Cut open the loaf Ciabatta bread in the middle so that you can build the sandwich.
- Spread a thin layer of butter inside the bread first and then a layer chilli pesto.
- Add thick layer of luxury coleslaw e.g. 3 to 4 tablespoon
- Take only one mackerel strip and make it into 5 - 7 small pieces. Add it over the coleslaw layer.
- Spread one tablespoon of sweet corn
- Sprinkle peri peri for taste
- Spread a thin layer of butter on the top piece of the Ciabatta bread.
- The sandwich is now ready for the grill.
- Cut the prepared loaf into two pieces. Grill the sandwich in the hot panini maker until golden and crisp. Tip: Place the two pieces vertically on grill and reverse it so that it is perfectly cripsed.
The preparation time is 10 mins and cook time around 5 mins. You can enjoy the sandwich with a cup of coffee.
